I just sold mine at a garage sale last year for 25 cents! Made a kid as happy as I was when I first got it!
I, in fact, had that exact one. I listened to Phil Collins' Invisible Touch so much I killed it. That and White Hot by Tom Cochrane - the first single cassette I ever bought.

It was an awesome era.

I'm pretty sure I had that exact same one. I can't believe Sony is only retiring it now! I think they are a few years late ;)

I heard about this on the radio earlier today. And yes, I did have one a long time ago.
Wow, that brings memories. I used to have one of those and man, was I cool,lol.

Yep, loved it. It was so stinkin big that when I went running, I had to put it in a fanny pack around my waist (yet another 80s staple)!

Wow! Technology has come such a long way in such a short time, relatively speaking. Yesterday, I saw the new ipod touch, only 1/8th on an inch thick and with all the bells and whistles of the bigger stuff. Sony had its day. RIP.
