Maybe YOU Have Some Ideas??

Okay... folding fitted sheets drives me bonkers!!!!

Does anyone have any tips on how to fold a fitted sheet so that it actually looks like i tried to fold it???

I really hate folding it up, but still having it look inept...

Am i doomed to never have a nice neat pile of fitted sheets??

HELP!

If I'm not mistaken you have to fold those rounded corners in and then fold it. It should look neater. I don't really know though. I can't do it either.

I have always wondered this too. I can't fold them to look nice either. I just sort of start folding it and wind up crumbling it all up into mess. I think this goes into the same laundry category with where do the missing socks go?

Sam, when I co-op'ed at Covers we were trained how to fold the dreaded fitted sheet. In lieu of flight costs to pass on this secret knowledge....I point thee in the direction of the master!

I learned how to fold fitted sheets when the Martha Stewart show was on TV before she went to jail. I now fold the fitted sheet, then the top sheet, then one pillow slip. I lay them on top of one another and slide the entire contents into the other pillow slip and they store more easily.

We are so bad at keeping up on folding our laundry that we pretty much never fold our clean sheets. By the time we get around to it it's time to change the sheets again.....all our crap ends up in a laundry basket for a week or two or on a pile in our room. So annoying.

You take the 2 short corners and fit one inside the other. Then you take the 2 long corners and fit one inside the other . Then you fit all four corners together the same way (it should look a bit like an envelope). Then you should have a somewhat organized sheet before finishing the folding process (it will NEVER be perfect lol).
I learned how to fold them from Martha Stewart by fitting each corner into the last.
I just roll 'em into a ball and put 'em away. Ha!
