Kids See FREE Program - Brought to you by the Real Canadian Superstore

Back-to-School is underway, so this is a good time for parents to think about their children’s most critical assets – their eyes! According to the Canadian Association of Optometrists, one in four school-aged children has a vision problem. That's a high number if you think about it; however in Canada we are very lucky, as yearly eye exams are covered for children by our provincial healthcare. There is simply no excuse for not being proactive about eye health.

Some restrictions apply. Check with your local store for more details.
Promotion can be cancelled at any time.

The friendly, caring (and sometimes funny!) staff at the Real Canadian Superstore Optical Centre made getting our eyes checked a breeze. The kids were assessed for overall eye health and vision status. Xman may need glasses one day in the future, but for now he isn't struggling so we'll reassess in a few months.

Putting the right lens on learning, the Kids See Free Program is available at all Real Canadian Superstore optical departments located across Canada. The program ensures that all children who require glasses, ages 4-10, receive free eyeglasses (up to $49.00).  Now entering its fifth year, the Kids See Free Program has already provided more than 5,000 pairs of glasses to Canadian kids.

Even though it wasn't our day to pick out glasses, we had some fun testing out the styles any ways! They even had frames with arms that bend all the way back, for you know, kid blunders.

All lenses for kids glasses are a safety

lens composed of Polycarbonate.
